MUSE – „Multifield CO2 storage for environment and energy” is the project co-financed by the Polish-Norwegian Research Programme. The project is carried out under the direction of professor Jerzy Stopa, at the Faculty of Drilling, Oil and Gas ( AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow ). A project leader is AGH University of Science and Technology and a project partner is The University of Stavanger. The proposed research project aims to develop new technologies. They may enable the injection of carbon dioxide into oil reservoir in the final stage of exploitation or abandon oil reservoirs in order to increase hydrocarbon production and a safety storage of CO2 (CCS-EOR).
